You can buy coffee, snacks and light meals at the lake destination most of the year but bring cash.”

“This was a really fun and exciting day out, supported by our friendly guide Lucaz. The transport was comfy and relaxed, picking us up on time, directly from our apartment. Lucaz was led by us in terms of how much to talk on the journey, answering any questions we had. The Tatra mountains were beautiful and we walked high into the mountains using the chains and ladders to lead us up to the top. “NOT a trail hike as pictured... just a very long walk on an asphalt road. Take the horse drawn carriage instead and save the money...and your feet. I had been looking forward to a nature walk. This was not it. The lake is nice but underwhelming.”
